"This woman was caught in adultery," the men said. She was surrounded by men, like a pack of wolves, poised to devour her. This looks like a seen from a horror movie, but this actually took place when Jesus lived and an account of it is given in John 8: 1- 11.

Another woman had an affliction for 12 years that many were embarrassed to speak about. Everybody knew her because she had spent all her money trying heal herself of a menstrual cycle that simply wouldn't stop. She was known to be unclean. Her husband could not lay with her, she was rejected by society and more painful, by those who were closest to her (Luke 8)

A third woman had been walking around with a bent back for eighteen years. People refereed to her as the woman with a disability and would point fingers at her and mention her in times of jest. Luke 13:10-17
